🎥 Ballet4Wellbeing Featured on Channel 9

A milestone moment for Ballet4Wellbeing. A celebration of movement, music and human connection.

We are incredibly proud and honoured that Ballet4Wellbeing was featured on Channel 9 News, showcasing the positive impact our seated ballet programs are having on older Australians, including those living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease and reduced mobility.

This national television story shines a light on something we witness every single day—when movement is combined with beautiful music, compassion and genuine human connection, remarkable things happen.

More Than Exercise

At Ballet4Wellbeing, every session is carefully designed to nurture the whole person.

Our unique seated ballet program helps participants improve:

🩰 Mobility and flexibility
💪 Strength and posture
🧠 Cognitive stimulation
❤️ Emotional wellbeing
🤝 Social connection and confidence

Whether someone is living independently, attending a community class or residing in an aged care home, our goal is always the same:

To bring joy, dignity and meaningful connection through the beauty of ballet.

National Recognition

Being invited to share our story on Channel 9 was an incredibly special moment for our entire team.

The feature was filmed during one of our regular sessions at Mercy Health Mont Clare in Perth, where residents welcomed the cameras and generously shared their experiences.

The story beautifully captured what Ballet4Wellbeing is all about:

✨ Smiles replacing isolation
✨ Music awakening memories
✨ Gentle movement building confidence
✨ Residents laughing, engaging and connecting with one another

It was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the important role that creative movement can play in supporting healthy ageing and improving quality of life.

A Shared Achievement

This recognition belongs to everyone who has believed in Ballet4Wellbeing.

Our heartfelt thanks go to:

💚 Our wonderful participants who inspire us every day.

💚 The dedicated lifestyle teams and aged care providers who have embraced our programs.

💚 Mercy Health for opening their doors and supporting the filming.

💚 The Channel 9 team for helping share this important story with Australians.

Looking Ahead

Since launching Ballet4Wellbeing, we have proudly delivered hundreds of sessions across Western Australia and are now expanding into Victoria.

Our vision is simple but ambitious:

To make Ballet4Wellbeing accessible to older Australians across the country.

Every new partnership allows us to reach more people, create more moments of joy, and demonstrate that ageing can still be filled with movement, purpose and connection.
