Dementia Symposium 2026
Ballet4Wellbeing to Present at the Dementia Symposium 2026
We are honoured to be part of one of Western Australia's leading dementia events.
Ballet4Wellbeing is delighted to announce that we have been invited to deliver an interactive seated ballet session at the Dementia Symposium 2026 in Perth.
Hosted by Alzheimer's WA, the Symposium brings together healthcare professionals, aged care providers, researchers, carers and community members who are committed to improving the lives of people living with dementia.
Our 45-minute session will engage approximately 400 delegates, demonstrating how music, movement and classical ballet can create meaningful moments of connection, joy and wellbeing for people living with dementia and older Australians.
This invitation represents another important milestone for Ballet4Wellbeing and reflects the growing recognition of our evidence-informed seated ballet program within the aged care and dementia sectors.
Over the past two years, we have delivered hundreds of sessions across Western Australia, helping older adults improve mobility, coordination, confidence and social connection while celebrating the power of music and movement.
We are incredibly grateful to Alzheimer's WA for the opportunity to share our work with so many passionate professionals and look forward to inspiring delegates with a practical demonstration of how creative movement can enhance quality of life for people living with dementia.
We can't wait to see everyone at the Dementia Symposium 2026!
